A Weekend In Miami + What I Wore

A Weekend In Miami + What I Wore

Happy Monday guys! It’s safe to say I am definitely ready for a new week after the most chilled out weekend in Miami. As I mentioned in Friday’s post, we headed down there for Tommy’s birthday and had such a great time. I had been to Miami a few times before but I think this was my favourite trip so far as it was Tommy’s first time and it was fun to experience it with him. We went to some really amazing restaurants and fun bars that I hadn’t been to on previous trips too which I’m dying to you about. So in today’s post I wanted to share more from the weekend along with all of my outfit details because I got some questions over on Instagram (@Retroflame).

WE STAYED IN…

The Eden Roc Hotel which was so so nice. I booked it pretty last minute on Thursday using the Hotel Tonight app so I really didn’t know what to expect but thankfully we had a great experience. The hotel was right on the beach and had three different pools to choose from. The location was also great as we could easily walk along the boardwalk to other hotels/restaurants & bars. The decor was also really beautiful and to top it off we got upgraded to a suite so our room was super big and comfortable too. I would definitely recommend it overall for both couples & families.

WE ATE & DRANK IN..

Cecconis: We ate in this gorgeous Italian restaurant on our first night & loved it. Kaelin had actually recommended it to me as her & David ate there when they were in Miami. The restaurant itself is in the Miami Soho Beach House so it has a really luxurious vibe from the moment you walk in. The setting is in a garden with lots fairy lights and just has such an overall warm vibe. We both had pasta dishes and they were so delicious. 10/10!

Mr Chow: On the second night we went this this asian restaurant. I had actually been to the one in Las Vegas and Tommy really wanted to try it. It’s a family style restaurant so you get a few different dishes and share them. Everything we got was really nice and the service was great too.

The Swan: On Sunday we went to a restaurant called the ‘Swan’ for brunch. It was Mother’s Day here in the US so everywhere was very busy. Luckily we were able to get a table there. Since it was Mother’s Day they were having a buffet style menu for the occasion. It was little pricey for the food was so good and we ate plenty! I loved the overall vibe in the restaurant – very chic!

Broken Shaker: This bar was in a hotel called Freehand. We went here on Saturday and it was so fun. It had a really chilled back vibe. It reminded me a lot of the bars in Tulum actually. The drinks were so good too – I would definitely go back.

Malibu Farm: Another place we went for lunch in was Malibu Farm. This chain is actually opening very close to us in New York soon and I’m even more excited about it after eating there over the weekend. The restaurant was actually part of our hotel which was so convenient. It serves lots of interesting healthy dishes and everything was so good.
