Hello everyone! I am officially home for Christmas and it’s been such a lovely & relaxing few days so far. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, as much as I love New York I will always love coming home. It is such a slower pace of life here, it really allows you to switch off (well a little bit anyway) and what better time to do that then Christmas. I am working as normal this week before the festivities begin and also trying to squeeze in some last minute outfit/present shopping so I can really relax once Friday comes. Every year I promise to be more organized but I think I just need to come to terms with the fact that I will ALWAYS be last -minute. I’m guessing I’m not the only one in this situation so I thought I would share some of the bits I have come across to help you finish off your Christmas Shopping for once and for all (it’s nearly over, don’t worry)…
PARTYWEAR:
I am really starting to get so excited for all the nights out ahead and seeing everyone but I always dread that annual fight with my wardrobe once they begin. In order to avoid that I have been ordering online like crazy to ensure I’m covered for any event thrown at me. How stunning is this simple white jumpsuit and this silk gold dress. Here are a few more options I have come across…
LAST MINUTE GIFTS:
Let’s face it, present shopping is stressful no matter how early you start. Getting the gift is rarely the problem, it’s trying to figure out what the person would like! I’ve found a few last minute ideas that you literally can’t go wrong with…this mug would be such a cute stocking filler!
CHRISTMAS CASUALS:
I’ve spent the last few weeks only focusing on looking for dressy outfits and nearly forgot to get some casual bits for the the days during Christmas, so I’ve been searching the web the last few nights for some cosy jumpers and jackets to get me through the season. Below are a few I fell in love with – I especially love this grey jumper dress and this velvet bomber.
I hope this has helped anyone who is as last minute as me… Happy Shopping & Merry Christmas!
