Happy Monday guys! Here is a look at what I wore to the H&M Summer party last Thursday in Brooklyn. Summer in New York is insanely hot which definitely tends to stress me out when it comes to choosing outfits, so I find myself sticking to what I know best…black & white. I’ll totally admit that Summer just isn’t my favorite time of year for fashion (I’m a die-hard sweather-weather girl), so I invest into pieces which will add to my Summer wardrobe but will still be 100% wearable again come Winter. When I spotted these H&M striped shorts, I knew they would be good. I love that they’re a little baggy & boyish and know that they would also look great with a pop of colour. It’s all about just altering your style from season to season in a way that you still feel comfortable.

It’s crazy how quickly Monday just sneaks it’s way back around again. I made a point of forcing myself to rest this weekend and I honestly feel 100% better already. Sometimes all you need is sleep. I definitely have a lot more energy (& enthusiasm) this Monday so I’m looking forward to the week ahead. I have some cool events coming up throughout the week and the girls & I also just booked a trip to Cape Cod for 4th of July weekend. Very excited to go there for the first time!
