See you soon, France.

french-riviera-holiday

So this time tomorrow, I’ll be on my way to the French Riviera! I mentioned in a recent travel post that it was a very last minute decision to meet my family there for a week’s holiday but now I’m so so happy I decided to go. I leave tomorrow morning and arrive there Sunday morning (because of the time difference) and I couldn’t be more excited to see my Mom, Dad & Sister. The last time I saw them was in February, so LOTS of catching up to do! As well as seeing my family, I’m also insanely looking forward to one other main thing….the food!! I love America, but it’s food doesn’t even come close to European food. The bread, the pastas, the ice-cream…they’re going to have to roll me home :) We’re staying in a town very near to Nice called, Antibes, and then we’re planning on visiting Monaco, Cannes and hopefully more. A trip to the French Riviera has been on my bucket list for a while now, so it’s great to be finally doing it. All the pictures from the Cannes Film Festival have made me extra excited. Everything just looks stunning!

I just bought a brand new camera yesterday, so there will be lots of photos. I’m bringing my laptop with me, but I may just stick to updating you guys through my Instagram, Twitter, Facebook & Snapchat (retroflame1) so feel free to follow along to see how everything you goes. I’ll probably be sharing most through my snapchat. In the meantime, you’ll find me last-minute packing. Some things just never change!! Here’s a sneak peek of some of the things I’m bringing (just click on any item to see the details)…

Have an amazing weekend!

Stylishly Yours,

Erika x

  1. Lucky you! I can’t wait to see where you go on Instagram. I love Nice, I wish I had explored the area near it more. The food was just amazing, from really fresh veg ratatouille to super dainty patisserie, very photo-worthy!

Have a great trip, I’m sure you’ll love it! You should try to visit Menton as well. It has beautiful pastel houses and a gorgeous beach, and the city itself is on a hill that has an amazing view. The whole Riviera is beautiful though!
