Hello NYC

Hello NYC - Retro Flame - Erika Fox

Hello everyone! I FINALLY have a blog post for you guys…it’s good to be back! I actually don’t know where to start, I have so much news. As you know, I moved to NYC two weeks ago and it has honestly been a whirlwind experience ever since. In today’s post, I’m going to give you guys a general update and then from tomorrow on, I’ll be sharing my New York Fashion Week outfits, along with all the news from one of the best weeks I’ve ever had! I’ll also be finally sharing all the info about who I’ve been working with throughout the week….so keep an eye out for that one. I’m so excited to tell you!

As soon as I arrived to New York, I immediately started looking for an apartment. Everyone will tell you that it’s one of the hardest things to find it this city so I was eager to start the search as soon as possible. Even though I was so tired from the traveling, I viewed lots of apartments on the Thursday & Friday and thankfully on the Friday evening, we found the cutest little apartment in the Upper East Side of Manhattan. I just couldn’t believe my luck! I spent my first weekend here at my cousin’s house up-state and then moved into our apartment on the Monday. The apartment needed a little work & some nice decoration and even though it’s not totally perfect just yet, I couldn’t be happier to be living here. As soon as I have it fully ready, I’ll be sure to do a big interiors/decor post here on my blog.

In between apartment shopping (and having lunch next to Kendall Jenner -still can’t believe that one!!), I got myself ready for fashion week and did a little wandering around the city. I really can’t even explain how good it feels to be back here. Spending two Summers here previous to this has definitely helped. New York can be a little daunting, so it’s great to (kind of) know my way around now. I’m still getting to know my neighborhood, but I have a feeling I’m really going to love living here for the year. My outfits during the first week were very casual and comfy (you never stop walking in this city). Below is a look at some of them…

Hope you’ve all been keeping well!
