Hi everyone, hope you’ve all had a lovely weekend! On Thursday, I shared all the details about the Wedding Outfits I wore while I was in Alvor and now here’s a look at the other looks I wore throughout the trip plus some extra snaps from my holiday.
Each night, we all went out for a meal & some drinks and so it was the perfect opportunity to get a little dressed up. The nights out are always my favourite part of any holiday! On our first night there, I wore my new polka dot playsuit from Boohoo which I absolutely love. Night two, I went for a black dress from one of my new favourite online stores, Lulu’s. This dress is a little different to what I would usually wear but I just love it’s simplicity. You really will never go wrong with a little black dress. The strappy heels are also from Lulu’s & I’m obsessed! Night three was the night before the wedding so it wasn’t a very late one. I kept it simple wearing my new white skirt from Three Floor. I shared a photo of this recently on my Instagram and it’s honestly one of my current favourite pieces in my wardrobe. Always towards the end of a holiday, I get a little lazy with the dressing up, so I opted for one of my go-to dresses from Penneys/Primark. I’ve had this dress for years & I honestly don’t think I’ll ever be able to give it away. I’d love to know which look was your favourite?
We spent our days either at the beach or lounging by the pool and it was so nice to finally get a chance to wear swimwear again. I think my favourite was the blue cutout swimsuit. I also love wearing kimonos on holidays, so I lived in this black fringed one from Boohoo.
Overall, it was such a fun trip! Alvor itself is the cutest little town full of lovely restaurants & delicious icecream. I genuinely think I ate enough ice-cream/crepes in one week to do me for the whole Summer!! The crepe with the icecream, smarties & nutella was just out of this world…I’m still thinking about it! Also, the beach is one of the nicest I’ve been to and the whole place is just perfect for a relaxed & chilled-out holiday. Below is a very quick list of some of my favourite spots in Alvor, just incase any of you are making a trip there in the future:
-Paesano Italian Restaurant
-Mourisco Cocktail Bar (Amazing service & the strawberry daiquiris are to DIE for!)
-The Icecream place on the top of the hill (It doesn’t have a name but there’s a nutella sign at the entrance)
Hope you enjoyed all my holiday snaps and just incase you think you missed any, just search this hashtag #retroflameinalvor on Instagram and you’ll be able to see them all :)
Hope you’ve all had a lovely Sunday!
