Photo Diary: Edinburgh Trip

Photo Diary: Edinburgh Trip

Hey everyone, as I mentioned on my Facebook & Twitter, my sister & I went to Edinburgh on Tuesday for 2 nights, on a little shopping/sight-seeing trip. It was such a beautiful city & one that I would definitely recommend. We went to see Edinburgh Castle, found some great vintage stores, ate in really good restaurants & of course, made it to all the usuals on the high street. I updated my twitter & instagram quite a bit while I was there, so just in case you missed it, here are a selection of the photos I was posting.

As I mentioned, we found some really great vintage stores, but the best by far was, Armstrongs Vintage, in the Grassmarket. It was one of those vintage stores that you could literally spend hours in & one which just full to the brim with vintage -my favourite kind, of course. It had an amazing selection of ball gowns, tulle skirts, hats, fur coats & more! I ended up buying an 1950’s lilac dress which I will be wearing to the vintage event I am currently organizing as part of Kerry Fashion Weekend 2013 and I can’t wait to show it to you! I was able to take a few snaps while I was there, so here’s a look….
It was so nice to get away for a few days & there really is nothing more that I love than going to a city that I’ve never been to before. While I was there, my (very patient) sister, Kaelin, photographed two outfit posts for me, so keep an eye out for them in the next few days.
I also have another little bit of exciting news..it’s looking like NYC may just be on the cards for me again this Summer for a few months. There’s lots to still be confirmed, but I’m already so excited!
Have a great weekend :)
Stylishly yours,
Erika x
