Latest purchases & Instagram pics.

Hey everyone! Im back blogging, thank God. Last week was pretty crazy, I had 3 assignments to do & they literally took over my life! So as you can imagine, I’m very very happy to have them all handed in :) On Friday, I had to go to Dublin for my U.S Embassy interview (I’m going to New York for the summer), so I managed to fit in a bit of time for a quick look around the shops. I really hadn’t planned on buying much because I’m going to London for a week at the start of April so I’m trying to save…..but yeah that didn’t exactly go to plan.  There’s some really cute stuff in the shops at the moment & I’m the world’s worst saver, so here are a few pics of my purchases….

How cute is this skirt?? As you know from previous posts, I’m loving mint green at the moment, so I just couldn’t leave these skirt behind. I got it in Bershka for a mere €20 ! I have an addiction to buying shorts, so I was really glad that it was a skirt I was buying for a change :) I wore it yesterday here in Ireland for  St.Patricks day, a bit of mint green for the day that was in it…

I also bought these cute little frilly socks in Topshop, & some blusher & eyeliner. I actually really like the Topshop Makeup range, it’s very good quality & pretty reasonably priced too!
So yeah it was about 3 o clock & that’s all I had bought. You can imagine how proud (& surprised) I was that I had managed to resist some of the other pretty stuff around. Then…..I went to Miss Selfridge. I actually kinda hesitated about going in there because it can be quite expensive and really, I don’t know if their clothes are worth it. As always, I went straight to the sale rail…& there they were! TWO pairs of shoes, on sale & in my size. So yes, that’s when my idea of not buying anything went out the window. I absolutely adore shoes, but I find it really hard to find nice ones. I actually spend hours and hours online looking for new stores that might have some cool shoes, but it’s actually way harder than you’d expect. I’ve gone through the whole Jeffrey Campbell stage now…& I’m just on the search for something new. I could not believe these shoes were on sale….
These shoes remind me of a similar pair I had seen somewhere else, I just can’t remember where. They were originally €105 and I got them for €30 ! Happy enough :) I think they’ll be really cute with the frilly socks.
I just fell in love with the buckles on this pair. They were originally €114 and I got them for €55….so half price really ! I know I only really should have bought one pair…but I just couldn’t resist. So let me know what ye think?

Also, seeing as I haven’t blogged in quite a while, here are a few of my instagram pics for those who haven’t already seen them already. My username is @retroflame , if you wanna follow :)
