Hi everyone and happy Monday – I hope you all had a great weekend! Yesterday I put a new VLOG live where I shared a little bedroom update. I chatted through some new decorative pieces I’ve been buying for the apartment and a lot of you seemed to like them so I thought I would share some more on here today. It’s been a while since my last apartment update blog post so I figured it’s definitely time for a new one.

We’ve been in the apartment for almost 8 months now and I finally feel like my vision for the place is coming to life.  That probably sounds crazy to some of you but one thing I do not like to do when it comes to the interiors in my apartment is rush it.  Although I wish my decision making process was a little quicker I’m really happy with how it’s all turning out now and I’m grateful that I took my time with deciding on some of the furniture. Since most of the bigger pieces are finalized now i.e the couch, bed, dining table. It’s time for the finishing touches so I’ve been focusing more on decorative pieces as I mentioned.

You might have seen the new sconce lights I bought for the bedroom. I can’t believe the difference these have made to the room. Not only are they great for lighting up the room but they have made it feel so much more cosy and finished. I definitely have a whole new appreciation for sconces haha! These candle holders are also new in for my dining table and I love how glam they are. I recently purchased this Vase from H&M too and filled it with wheat grain. I love how to turned out and it’s perfect for the window cil next to my couch. Just this weekend I found a new coffee table book in a thrift store here in NY. I love how simple yet affective they are stacked on a shelf or table. This Chanel one is very chic and affordable.
