What I Wore To Coachella 2019

Hey everyone and happy Thursday! We are officially back to normal programming after our weekend at Coachella. On Tuesday morning, we got the red eye flight back from Palm Springs and we were exhausted but thankfully feeling much more refreshed after some good sleep (& lots of coffee of course haha!) For today’s post, I thought I would recap my outfits from the weekend. It was my fourth year in a row at Coachella so it’s safe to say I was a little slower with ideas this year but I’m so happy with how my looks turned out. Festival dressing is always so much fun and a great opportunity to get out of my comfort zone and experiment with different styles. You all seemed to like the looks over on my Instagram (@retroflame) and a lot of you were interested in some more details so here goes…

This was definitely like no look I had ever done before but I am so happy I decided to go with it in the end. I had spotted the dress on another blogger that I follow months ago and instantly fell in love with it. It took some time to track it down but I eventually found it on a website called White Fox Boutique which is Australian. I decided to pair it white accessories, one of them being my amazing crown which was handmade by an Irish company called Cayla Couture. When they originally got in touch about making a crown for me I didn’t have any of my outfits. So, I couldn’t believe how well it worked out when I paired these two items together – a match made in heaven! P.s I also filmed the makeup look I wore on Day 1 for my YT channel if you want to check it out HERE :)

I’m not going to lie, I had a couple of different options for day two but with the help of you guys over on Instagram I went with this Tularosa green dress. I LOVED the color of this and also the length. I decided to edge it up with black accessories including the most perfect leather waistcoat from Designer Revival (my go-to consignment store in NYC). I then finished the look with a black fedora from a designer called Genevieve Rose. I was so happy with how this turned out and what was even better was that I felt great in it too!

…& lastly, on day 3 I stepped another little bit out of my comfort zone with this paisley Caroline Costas dress. I saw this on Revolve last week and it really got my attention. I loved the cut out detail in the front and I had never done a black & white look before so I thought it would be a fun change. I finished off this look with the same black cowboy boots as day 2  which I won’t be wearing to a festival again. I loved how they looked but by day 3 they hurt a LOT (lesson learned haha!) And lastly, with the most stunning fringed jacket from Designer Revival – I loved the shoulders especially. Such a beautiful festival piece!

I hope you liked my looks this year and hopefully got some inspiration if you are off to any festivals this Summer. Definitely let me know if you would like us to focus on more festival content and we will get working on it. Until next time, Coachella!
