Hey guys & happy Monday – I hope you all had a great weekend! Today, I wanted to start the week with a chatty post telling you all about my very best purchases in 2018. I invested in a lot of new items throughout the year but I’ve narrowed it down to 10 things in particular that really stuck out to me. These are things I’ve constantly been using since I bought and I truly think are worth their price tag no matter how big or small. So let’s get right into them, shall we?…

DIOR SADDLE BAG 

First up, my Dior Saddle Bag. This is without a doubt my favorite bag in my collection right. I’m so so happy that I invested. I also ended up getting mine for such a bargain on one of my favorite consignment websites called Vestiaire Collective. I stalked the site for three full days and bought mine straight after it was uploaded. It is second hand & vintage but surprisingly in amazing condition. Consignment shopping definitely takes a little more effort but you end up saving so much and I kind of love the thrill of it too. I’ve linked some similar options below if you love the bag too.

RIMMEL FOUNDATION

Earlier this year I collaborated with Rimmel to promote their ‘Match Perfection 24HR Moisture’ foundation and I could not get over how good it was. I’m a huge NARS fan when it comes to foundation but this one gives them a run for their money. So much so that I find myself reaching for it more these days. The coverage is amazing and it gives such a flawless finish. It is very affordable too which is such a bonus.

ALEXANDER WANG BOOTS

I treated myself to my Alexander Wang Boots in the Barneys Sale at the end of the year and I’ve honestly not stopped wearing them since. I’ve enjoyed styling them so much and I know they will continue to be a huge staple in my wardrobe this year as well. CANON 22MM LENS

Last year I also finally upped my camera game with some new lenses including the Canon 22mm Lens which I mostly use right now for my Instagram. I love shooting with my iPhone but I find this lens so great for shooting content with Kaelin during the week. The quality is so much better and it picks up the details in my outfit shots a lot more. I would truly recommend it if you are looking to up your game on Instagram or are just looking to try out a new lens. I use it on my Canon M6 EOS.

OFFICE DESK & CHAIR

This time last year we moved into our new office (my old bedroom) and I finally bought my dream office desk /chairs. It’s something that I had wanted to invest in for the longest time so when I finally had the space I was so happy to do so. It took me a long time to find what I was looking for but eventually I did find exactly that from brand called TOV. I actually had two stools from the brand already so I was slightly familiar with them. They are definitely investment pieces but I already plan to bring them with me to my next apartment and again they are something I put a lot of thought into to so I was more than ready to make the purchase. It looks like my desk is temporarily sold out but I’ve linked similar options below for you.

NESPRESSO MACHINE

You all know my love for coffee at this stage so I have to include my new Nespresso Machine that I bought during the Summer. I had my old one for over three years so I thought it was time to get a newer model. I love the Nespresso coffee so much and it also saves you a lot of money here in New York to have your own machine.

CHARLOTTE TILBURY PALETTE

Another beauty item that I don’t think I could live without now is my new Charlotte Tilbury ‘Stars In Your Eyes‘ Palette. I got it at the very end of the year and have done my makeup with it every day since. It’s funny because a lot of you have been asking about my makeup over the last few weeks and I truly think it’s because of this palette – so so good!

CHANEL BROOCH

Last but certainly not least, my Chanel brooch that I treated myself to on my birthday! I’ve worn it on so many blazers & coats since and I just love what it adds to my outfits. Simple but so chic and timeless. Something I will have forever!
