Retro’s Autumn Edit: The Dresses Round Up

Happy Monday everyone – I hope you all had a great weekend! I wanted to kick start this week’s content with another segment of Retro’s Autumn Edit. Today, I wanted to delve into dresses. Just because Summer is over definitely doesn’t mean dresses have to be too. There are so many great ways to style dresses in Autumn and they are usually super easy & convenient to style for those of you that are always rushing like me. I have broke it down into different section to help you find exactly what you are looking for..

DAY DRESSES

The right dress with tights, boots & a hat is one of my favorite Autumn outfits. I really love this gold slip dress. I can imagine it would be so nice over a white turtle neck. You could also wear it over a t-shirt in the Summer so it’s something you could wear all year around.  This black dress really caught my eye too – I’m still loving button detailing. A good leather dress is a must in your Autumn/Winter wardrobe too!

GOING OUT DRESSES

It’s definitely time to start thinking about Christmas parties etc so I thought it would be good to include some going out dresses in this post. This sequined one is getting me excited for the dressing up ahead and I love this velvet blazer too – definitely something that wouldn’t get old. I really like the one shoulder detail on this more fitted dress too!

JUMPER DRESSES

Ah my favorite! Last year I lived in jumper dresses so I’m so excited to re-wear some of the ones I purchased last year. I bought a very similar black one to this and got so much wear out it – definitely a staple piece to have. I also love this simple grey version. The color of this one is so striking too, Kaelin currently has her eye on it.

MIDI DRESSES

..And finally, midi dresses. These are something I definitely need to invest in more of this year because I love how chic and sophisticated they look. I’m already visualizing this style with a belt and boots & I love this polka dot version too. This green is one of my very favorite colors to wear too – the dress would be perfect for a wedding if you have any coming up.

As always, I hope you found this post helpful and be sure to get in touch over on my Instagram (@retroflame) if you want me to focus on anything particular for this series.

Have a great week & chat soon,

x Erika
