Retro’s Autumn Edit: Accessories

Hey guys & happy Friday! I’m so excited for the weekend because we are going upstate pumpkin picking which is my new favorite Autumn tradition here in the states. But before I clock off I wanted to quickly share my last blog post of the week which is another Retro’s Autumn Edit. By the way I’m so glad that some of you are finding these helpful – I love doing the for you! Today I’m covering the essential accessories you need this season. In case you missed yesterday’s post about basics, I chatted about how I personally think they are essential fro an Autumn/Winter wardrobe and once you have them you are pretty sorted. Well today I wanted to show you how you can change those basics up with accessories. To me they are vital especially during autumn/Winter so lets see what’s made the cut…

If you’ve been following since the beginning you will know I have a love for hats. Especially during Autumn/Winter. A classic fedora is usually my go-to but last season I got really into baker boy hats too. Berets are set to be huge again this year also it seems – I love the look of this Burgundy one!

I love how a belt can change a whole look especially when it comes to blazers & coats. So during Autumn/Winter it is essential to have a good selection in your wardrobe. I think you can’t go wrong with a gold buckled black belt but we’ve definitely seen so many variations over the last few months. Like this belt bag and this industrial version. Wide belts are set to be huge as well this season – the color of this one is so good!

If you live somewhere as cold as New York you will know how important a good stash of scarves are. However, they aren’t just always for practicality. For instance, this scarf could change up any of your bags or you could wrap it around a pony tail too which I absolutely love the idea of. I also love the difference a simple faux fur can make to any coats or jackets you own. This cosy scarf is definitely added too my wishlist too for those colder than usual days ahead.

Personally I can never leave the house with my CLUSE watch, rings & necklace on so I had to include jewelry in here too even though it may seem obvious. I adore this necklace from Missoma London and wear mine all the time. This ring is also very affordable and would look so dainty on!

And last but not least, my very favorite accessory on this list – sunglasses. No outfit ever feels complete to me without a pair. They are most definitely not just an accessory for Summer so if you currently don’t have a few go-to pairs, now is the time. I’m currently wearing a style similar to these & I loved them! I also think a simple pair of round rayban’s goes with near every outfit. Or if you like something a little more fun, these are pretty cool!

I hope you enjoyed today addition to Retro’s Autumn Edits and spotted some accessories to add to your wishlist. If you missed the one previous to this you can catch up HERE.

Have a great weekend & Chat soon,

x Erika
