Hey everyone and happy Tuesday! It’s nearly that time again… yes, Autumn is almost upon us and I couldn’t be happier! If you’ve been reading my blog for a while now you will know that Autumn Fashion is my absolute favorite. Being very honest with you, I find Summer clothes a little hard to style and they just don’t make me feel fully like myself. Therefore, I’m more than happy to start transitioning into the new season. So today I wanted to kick start the Autumn fashion posts with some transition pieces I personally think are key in your wardrobe. Transitioning from Summer to Autumn can be tricky so I hope this helps…

BOOTS

This might be a bit of an obvious one but I couldn’t not include it. I for one live in boots during Autumn & winter and therefore think they are a key piece. However, a good unique pair can be hard to find so I wanted to share some of my favorites online right now including these ones. I got these ones for Kaelin last year also she gets so much wear out of them!

CARDIGANS/DUSTERS

Cardigans are set to be very big this year and I think they are perfect for transitioning some of your favorite Summer dresses into Autumn. I personally also adore a duster coat for Autumn. I think they are SO chic and timeless. Some of my best cardigan/duster finds include this cardigan from ASOS and these fab striped duster.

JEANS

I’m not sure about you but I cannot wait to get back to living in my black jeans. I truly miss them during Summer so I cannot wait to style some new outfits around my jean collection as well as invest in a few new pairs. I am really loving the straight leg for Autumn this year. This pair is fab and if you are on the hunt for a black pair, these ones are one of  my favorites.

LEATHER JACKETS

Another piece of clothing that I live in during Autumn is my leather jacket. When it’s a little chilly but not cold enough for coats just yet it is the perfect piece to finish off an outfit. I bought a very similar one to this one last year and I love how it looks on. I also love this one if you want something other than black.

LIGHT KNITWEAR

..& last but not least knitwear. It wouldn’t be Autumn without it. It can still be a little on the warmer side here in New York up until October so I always choose to transition with lighter knitwear. This sweater is such a key piece in my opinion and I love the colour of this one.
