Happy Friday everyone! I wanted to finish off the week by sharing a little round up of our trip to Donegal with you! We truly had such a lovely few days there so I thought I would share a little photo dairy from the trip and talk through some of the highlights..

One of the main highlights was definitely staying in the stunning Lough Eske Castle. This was such a treat! When we booked it, we were so happy to hear that it was a dog friendly hotel so we also got to bring Vogue along which Kaelin was especially happy about! The whole resort was so serene, it was truly the perfect getaway! Each staff member was nicer than the next & so welcoming & accommodating which made the experience lovely. We also got to try out the restaurant & the Spa which were both 5* in my opinion. The castle had such a cosy vibe to it also, it really was hard to leave. I would highly recommend it if you are looking for an Irish getaway soon! I can imagine it would be even nicer during the Summer.

Driving around Donegal and exploring at our leisure was one of my favourite parts of the trip. We didn’t have a plan, we just jumped in the car and see where the road took us which was the nicest thing ever! Donegal town was actually one of my favourite places that we visited – so quaint & clean, it kind of reminded me Killarney & Kenmare actually if you have been to wither of those places! We ate in a restaurant called ‘The Market House’ which was was so lovely – great food, atmosphere & service. I would really recommend checking it out if you are visiting!

We also made it to to Slieve League which are some of the highest cliffs in Ireland. So many of you recommended for us to check them out so we made sure to fit it in & I’m so glad we did! We got so lucky with the weather too and had such a perfect day for it. As I always say there is no where nicer in the world than Ireland when the sun shines!

Another highlight was the talk I did with the Creative Coast Donegal which was the main reason behind the trip.  I talk about that more in detail in one of my most recent posts ‘The 3 Secrets To My Success So Far’ so be sure to check that out if you are interested!

I hope you enjoyed this little round up. I vlogged the whole trip as well so here is the video..

Have a fantastic St Patrick’s Weekend & chat soon,
x Erika
