Happy Monday everyone! I must admit that when it comes to trends, I really do try my best to steer clear. Not because I don’t like them but because I always worry that I will grow tired of them quicker than I can say the name of the trend itself. If you’ve followed along for a while and have seen my style evolve over the years, you’ll know that I’m all about my investment pieces. I love classic, timeless pieces that I know I will have forever. But every now and again, a certain trend comes along that I just can’t ignore and my newest obsession is with scarves. I CANNOT stop wearing them. I don’t know what it is about a neck scarf, but it just instantly adds an element of ‘chic’ to any look. It dresses up the most simple of outfits and I have to admit, I just love every single thing about scarf style. My collection is growing by the day and I wanted to share with you my three favourite styles.
1. The Silk Print Neck Scarf
I talked a little before about this vintage Gucci scarf that my aunt handed down to me and ever since I received it, it literally has a special place in my wardrobe. I’m on the hunt for as many similar styles as I can find and see above some favorites I’ve come across. I NEED the Rockins Floral in both colours.
2. The Bandana Scarf
Next up is one you would have seen a lot of on my snapchat (retroflame1) over the past few weeks. So far I have ones in black & in grey and this white one has just been added to my wishlist. Oh and if you can’t decide, check out this super inexpensive 2-pack.
3. The ‘Skinny’ Scarf
And finally, the simple skinny scarf which literally transforms an outfit in seconds. I LOVE this style. I currently have a plain black one and now want one in pink suede & star-print.
Trust me, if you haven’t already, you NEED to try out this trend! Super easy & inexpensive and I promise you’ll love it as much as I do.
Have an amazing week!
Stylishly Yours,
