So the day has finally come…I fly back home to Ireland for Christmas later on this evening. It really crept up on my very quickly this year, but I’m still so excited! I’m going to be home for 2 full weeks and I just can’t wait for the break. I’ve been quite sick here in New York this past week, so I think that has made me even more excited to be in front of a warm fire for the next few weeks. I love living in New York, but there is nothing like that feeling when you arrive home. I can’t wait to spend the next few weeks catching up with family & friends and hopefully, taking some ACTUAL time off! Christmas nights out are some of my favourite of the year – everyone is home and in good spirits and it’s the perfect opportunity to catch up with people you haven’t seen all year. I’m just about finished packing and have squeezed in LOTS of black pieces for all the nights out to come. This black leather pencil skirt will definitely be coming with me. I’ll never get tired of black on black and this skirt has been part of so many outfits since I got it during the Summer.
