There are several reasons I love this time of year in New York – Central Park is far too stunning, I can walk anywhere without a) being too sweaty or b) freezing my ass off and the whole city just seems to be in a better mood. It’s without a doubt my favourite time of year here & I just wish it could last for longer. As well as my love for the city tripling, my love for Autumn clothes & colours is also just as strong. Aside from my usual black & white palette – Autumn convinces me to inject other colours such a khaki green, burgundy & deep blues into my wardrobe and I love experimenting with different styles & combinations. This stunning Khaki Green Coat from W by Worth is my latest purchase and I couldn’t love it any more. Such amazing quality & my ideal pop of colour. Being a redhead, this is one of my favorite colours to wear. Paired with this black sweater dress & knee-high boots – I think this could be one of my favourite Autumn outfits of the season so far.

This past weekend was a good one! My family is here in New York all week and it’s honestly just such a treat having them here. My Dad did the New York Marathon yesterday and the rest of the weekend was spent wandering, exploring…& eating. Haha! This past few days has shown me why we’re definitely all family/related – we’re all equally as obsessed with this place. I think it’s a certain type of person who truly loves New York and all the energy that comes with it. As I promised, I’ll have a big city guide here on Retro Flame next week detailing all the places I’ve been bringing them.
Hope you all had a great one too!
