Over the past few weeks, I’ve had the pleasure of speaking at some amazing events & this weekend I was invited along to the Lovely Happenings event here in New York. I’ve mentioned before on my snapchat (retroflame1) that I absolutely love being a part of these type of events & honestly, I can barely believe that I’m now involved here in New York too! When I moved here last September, Retro Flame was more or less completely unknown here in the states, so you can imagine how excited I get when I meet US followers. The whole event was so well organized and it really was the perfect way to spend a Saturday. It’s definitely a little chillier here this week, so I wore my new jumper & Vila trousers from Irish (Ennis/Galway) based store Willow. One of my really good friends from Fashion College manages their Galway store and invited me in a few weeks ago while I was home. I fell full on in love with everything they stock and I just can’t even describe my love for this jumper! Such good quality & I love the leather-pocket detailing.

Weekends always seem to just go too fast! I try to pack in as much as I can, but I don’t think they’ll ever be long enough. Things are busier than ever at the moment, but I made sure to take a few hours off yesterday to wander around Soho – one of my very favourite things to do here. Hoping to post a lot more NYC recommendation posts over the next few weeks (you guys have been asking) so keep an eye out for those.
