Vera Wang Embrace Perfume
When it comes to beauty & style, for me, the most important element of all is finding that something which others recognize you for. Whether it’s your love for pink lipstick, minimalistic style or statement jewelry – it’s that something which sets you apart. That something people associate you with. Personally, my style is constantly evolving, especially since moving to New York, but one thing which I stay very loyal to is my choice of perfume. I know the type/scent I like to wear and I stick to it. I absolutely love when a certain perfume reminds you of someone. I recently discovered the new Vera Wang Embrace scent in Perwinkle & Iris and immediately fell in love. When it comes to perfume, you just know when it’s right! It’s a mix of violet petals, blue jasmine, periwinkle, iris and my favourite scent of all, vanilla, so it’s no wonder I love it. It’s fresh, sweet & light and works as the perfect day-perfume here in New York.
This was probably my favourite shoot with Christina throughout the whole Summer. It was so fun to do something a with a more ‘editorial’ feel. Sometimes, I forget how lucky I am that Central Park is on my doorstep. I really couldn’t ask for a better backdrop. I’m absolutely loving being back in Ireland for a few weeks but also can’t wait to be back to Autumn/Fall in NYC. Central Park is beautiful all year round, of course, but from October to Christmas it is out of this world!
I’m back home in Kerry again today after a birthday weekend to remember. It was jam-packed, to say the least, but I’m so happy to have squeezed so much in. Yesterday, I headed off to Clare to finally see the Cliffs of Moher. Despite the crazy weather (I’m still freezing) it really was as amazing as I expected. Can’t believe I had never been there before! If you haven’t been, add it to your list right this minute.
Hope you’ve all been having a great start to the week!
