I’m back home in Kerry after an absolutely amazing weekend at Electric Picnic. I was invited along by the lovely people over at Justeat.ie and I’m so happy that I was home just in time to go. I absolutely loved hanging out at their Just Eat Retreat all weekend – the perfect chill-out spot amongst all the madness. It was my second time at this particular festival and I can definitely see myself there at some stage again in the future. One of my best friends, Christina, came along with me and we really made the most of every single minute! Of course, the camping part is the furthest thing possible from glamorous, but you really just have to go with the flow and remember that it’s all part of the fun. My very favourite act was George Ezra, I didn’t think it was possible but I now love him even more. Sam Smith & Florence were also amazing -as expected. You’ll hopefully have seen some videos on my snapchat (retroflame1). Also, a HUGE thank you to everyone who came up & said hi this weekend – I always love any opportunity to be able to meet some of you :)
As always with me, it was a last minute rush to put some outfits together but sometimes it works out better this way. I’m head over heels in love with this black suede fringe dress I found hidden away (the last one) in H&M in Dublin just before I left on Friday. I couldn’t believe my luck! It was such a fun dress to wear & of course, anything fringe is always great for festivals. I had a quick look online and found some similar versions for you Here, Here & Here.
I haven’t been as tired in a long time but it was all 100% worth it! So excited to jump into my bed tonight, haha!
Hope you had a great weekend too,
