“This heart of mine was made to travel the world”
You’ll have seen last week on my @retroflame Instagram that I wore this floral shirt for a meeting at The Globe Showroom and I’ve literally worn it so many times since. The weather here in NYC has been a little tricky. It’s warm, but you still need to to avoid anything too skimpy, so this shirt is the perfect in-between. Plus I always love wearing these colours. I’ve previously worn it with plain black skinnies & also with my blue Diesel jeans, but over the weekend it was a little bit warmer so I tried it out with my new leather drop hem skirt from Boohoo. Oh and I wore these black open-toe boots for the first time as well. LOVE them!
During fashion week, I met Tracy, who’s a photographer here in New York and she very kindly shot these photos for me near the stunning Brooklyn Bridge, just as it was starting to get dark. I definitely am spoilt for choice when it comes to finding cool backdrops here in New York. As I mentioned in my NYC Lessons Learned post, things can often get a little overwhelming here in New York, but spending time in areas like this make you remember why exactly this city is so amazing. Lots more posts to come this week!
Hope you’re all having a good one,
