So today is officially my last day of Summer here in Ireland because tomorrow I leave for NYC!! Later on today, I’ll be sharing a blog post with an update about my move, but first, I wanted to do a little recap on this amazing Summer which has just come to an end. It was my first Summer at home here in Ireland in a while and I genuinely enjoyed every single minute. I visited parts of Kerry/Ireland which had been on my list for a while, I enjoyed the most amazing trip to Alvor for Nessa’s wedding, I worked on some crazy exciting projects here on Retro Flame and I laughed WAY too much with friends. There really is just something about Summer which can’t be beaten! Below are some photos from my Trips & Travels throughout the Summer….
At the beginning of the Summer, I promised myself that I would see more of Kerry/Ireland. Often, we totally take for granted the beauty that’s on our doorstep here in Ireland and so I’m so happy that I set some time aside this Summer to enjoy some of it’s beauty. I visited Kenmare & Dingle at the beginning, had the most amazing stay at The Adare Manor in Limerick & then went on a little roadtrip to The Skelligs Chocolate Factory in Ballinskelligs here in Kerry. From there, we drove to Portmagee & Valentia and then got the ferry back to Cahersiveen. Definitely one of my favourite days this Summer! I’ve never had a nicer hot chocolate!…(and I’ve tasted a lot). Of course, as well as my Irish travels, I also went on the most unforgettable trip to Alvor in Portugal for Nessa’s Wedding. I’m still smiling thinking about the memories from that week :)
In the middle of all this, I also had so much fun working on different projects for Retro Flame. Here are some snaps below….
Throughout the Summer I collaborated with brands such as Lulu’s, Warehouse, Primark, Kildare Village, Three Floor, Arnotts, The G Hotel, Brown Thomas & More! I absolutely loved working with the lovely Julia from Wonderfulife Productions (who I’m going to miss like crazy) on so many of these projects. We always had fun finding new locations in pretty Galway. It was a busy Summer for sure, but I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat :)
So it’s the end of one chapter, but the beginning of another….& I just couldn’t be more excited!! Stay tuned later today for a quick NYC update :)
Hope you’re all having a lovely week,
