“No matter what happens, no matter how far you seem to be away from where you want to be, never stop believing that you will somehow make it. Have an unrelenting belief that things will work out, that the long road has a purpose, that the things you desire may not happen today, but they will happen. Continue to persist.” – Brad Gast
There’s something about lace that ensures it will never go out of style. I just love long-sleeved white lace and the little peplum detail on this Zara top is what won me over. In order to properly show the peplum, I paired it with this mustard pencil skirt which I found at the very back of my wardrobe. The best thing about having wardrobe clear-outs, is that you find things you had totally forgotten about. Julia & I shot this look on Sea Road in Galway, which is definitely now one of my favourite streets in Galway. There’s a huge blossom tree, lots of pretty doorways and several really cute cafes nearby. The thing I love most about Galway is that it’s a city in which you are forever finding new treasures.
You many have seen that today was the day I applied for my US visa. If everything goes according to plan, I’ll be moving to NYC this September for a full year!! It’s all SO exciting! I don’t think I’ve ever been so eager to fill out a form! I also just want to quickly say a HUGE thank you to all of you who follow me on Instagram (@retroflame) as I just noticed this morning that now over 10,000 of you follow along! I genuinely appreciate your support so much and I promise that there are lots more adventures to come! Tomorrow, I’m off to Galway and then on Thursday I’ll be in Brown Thomas in Cork hosting some fashion shows. As always, I’ll be keeping you up to date on my Instagram, Twitter & Facebook.
Hope you’ve all had a nice start to the week,
