Hi everyone, hope you’ve all had a lovely weekend! Last week, Bewley’s invited my sister & I to Dublin to attend their Bewley’s Afterdark Coffee Masterclass. I honestly didn’t know what to expect, but it turned out to be one of the most fun events I’ve attended in a while. As you’ve probably guessed from my Instagram (@retroflame), I’m a huge coffee fan so I was really excited to learn more about the different types. On arrival, we were greeted with espresso martinis (strongest drink EVER), we then went onto do some coffee tasting, followed by a quick latte art masterclass. I’ve always wanted to learn how to do those cool coffee designs, so that was such a treat. Is is definitely A LOT harder than it looks, but I came away (kind of) knowing how to do a simple heart :) How cool is that elephant design you can see in the photos above?
While we were in Dublin, we were treated to a night in the Trinity City Hotel which is so beautifully decorated! The purple lobby is so eye-catching & fun and there are the most beautiful details all throughout the hotel. For getting around, we used Uber Dublin which is a really great car service that I had heard so much about. It allows you to book a car really easily through their app. I’d definitely recommend trying it out! On the Thursday, we did a little shopping and of course indulged in some sweet treats. For me, every single trip to Dublin involves a visit to Yogism to get some fro-yo and this time, I also discovered the cutest little cafe called The Bakehouse. I can’t wait to visit again. Whenever I go to Dublin, all I seem to do is eat!! :)
Hope you’re all having a lovely start to the week!
Stylishly Yours,
