Happy Friday everyone! I’ve been getting some questions lately about my favourite beauty products, etc. so I figured it was time to share all the details here on Retro Flame. I’m definitely still learning about what suits me best, but I absolutely love experimenting with new products. My sister, Kaelin, is really interested in beauty/makeup and always does the nicest makeup looks, so I try to pick up some tips & tricks from her. I must admit that I’m a little safe and often stick to the same look, but I guess it just comes down to knowing what works and what doesn’t. The picture above shows my current beauty essentials -a.k.a the products I couldn’t live without! Apologies that some products don’t look brand new and perfect, but these literally are the products I use on a daily basis.
Estee Lauder Foundation (shade: Ecru) // Armani Si Perfume // Rimmel Black Eyeliner
Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette // Real Techniques Brushes // MAC Brushes // Estee Lauder Pure Envy Lipstick Sleek Palette // Barry M Nail Varnish // Clinique Blusher // Estee Lauder Eyeshadow Palette
Collection Concealer // Clinique Mascara // Mac Highlighter

My current go-to foundation is Estee Lauder Double Wear in the shade ‘Ecru’. I love this for coverage and it really does last all day. You’ll have seen that I recently got HD brows done (see my before/after here) and they have honestly made my life a million times easier. All I have to do now is fill them in slightly using the Benefit Brow Shaping Kit. For eyes, I just love the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette, Clinique or Benefit Mascara and Rimmel Liquid Eyeliner (I swear by this!). For years, I only ever used MAC Makeup brushes, but now I also have lots of the Real Technique ones in my collection. They are amazing! For lips, I love the Estee Lauder Pure Envy Lipsticks and for nails (whenever I don’t have gels), I am obsessed with the Barry M collection. I love the blue shade seen above and also really want to try this ‘silk’ version. I’m always switching perfumes, but at the moment I’m loving Armani Si.
As you can see, it’s a big mix of everything! There are some products that I repeatedly buy over and over again and some that I like to switch up. It definitely takes a little trial & error before you have the ‘perfect’ makeup collection -but at least it’s very fun figuring it out! Do you use some of these products? I’d also love to know you’re favourites?
Have a fantastic weekend!
