Up until last year, you would rarely see me in a pair of denim jeans -but I must admit that I’m starting to really like them. I’m very fussy when it comes to the style/shade of jeans I buy, but when I saw these high-waisted ones in Dorothy Perkins in Killarney over the weekend, I was immediately drawn to them. I love the fact that they’re high-waisted and they’re the perfect shade of denim for Spring/Summer. Yesterday was one of those days that I just felt like dressing pretty casual, so I paired them with a simple navy blazer -also from Dorothy Perkins. I don’t think that the jeans/blazer combo or understated basics will ever lose their effectiveness.
As it was Mother’s Day, we had some family over for coffee and treats at our house and then went for dinner at the beautiful Jack’s Coastguard Station in Cromane. I’m actually surprised that I haven’t mentioned this restaurant before as it’s definitely one of my favourites here in Kerry. The views (which you can see below), the food and the service are all just amazing and it’s the perfect place to be on a Sunday. My Mom actually did all the interior design in the restaurant and she truly did such a fantastic job. It’s really modern and chic and it’s such a relaxing setting for dinner with friends or family. It’s very clear that I got my love for both fashion & interiors straight from my very talented Mom. Also, how funny is the old picture (below) which I found yesterday? One of my favourite things to do is to go through old photos as you’re always guaranteed a laugh! Hope you all enjoyed the day :)
Have a fantastic week!
