“She believed she could, so she did.”
Last week, I had such a fun time shooting some looks in the AMAZING G Hotel in Galway. It was my first time visiting the hotel and honestly, I was taken aback by the modern, vibrant and extremely chic decor. You probably know by now that I love my interiors, so The G Hotel was like a little slice of heaven for me and was the perfect location for this look. I’ve been posting lots of decor pics on my Instagram (@retroflame) so if you want to see more of the hotel, you can check them out there. I always love adding a little story and character to each of the looks I post here on my blog -through the quote I include at the beginning and also through the setting. Of course, there are posts which just show my outfit shot against a plain wall, etc. -but as often as I can, I love to shoot in fun locations to add more life to the clothes and keep things interesting. In between shooting, Julia & I squeezed in time to have some coffees and also got to taste one of their popular cocktails. It was just as delicious as it looks here in the photos!
This adorable midi skirt is from Penneys/Primark (in stores at the moment) and I absolutely loved styling it. I kept it very simple by adding a plain white top (similar here) and sandals (similar here) as I didn’t want to make it too fussy. I’ve always loved midi skirts and when they’re as pretty as this one, it’s very hard not to be a fan! I also can’t wait to style it a little more casually by adding a leather jacket and boots. Have any of you purchased it too?
Hope you’ve all had a lovely start to the week!
