“I believe…I believe. It’s silly, but I believe.” -Miracle on 34th Street
Happy Christmas Everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful day yesterday. My family & I had such a relaxed day this year. We spent the morning opening presents, stayed in our pyjamas until about 2 o clock (always the best part) and then eventually got dressed and went to my Aunts house for dinner. Both my grannies were with us this year which is always a treat. I received this Black Lace Dress a few weeks ago from Chicwish and it ended up being perfect for yesterday. I just love the lace sleeves and high neck. I also wore my new Black Cutout Heels from Forever21. We all received some beautiful gifts, including the statement jewellery I’ve shown you above. It’s so funny -the three of us girls always seem to buy such similar gifts for each other every Christmas and you can be guaranteed that there will always be some jewellery in our stockings! Kaelin got me the bracelet I’m wearing in this post which I absolutely adore.
I also got such a lovely surprise from my boyfriend Tommy. I have been wanting to go to Paris for ages now and had mentioned it to Tommy that maybe instead of Christmas presents this year, we could book a trip away. This is our fourth Christmas together, so as you can imagine we’ve bought each other all the usual presents at this stage (silly presents drive me crazy) so I figured it would be much better this year to put our money into travel instead. But despite all my enthusiasm (for at least a month!) for this idea, he wasn’t even the tiniest bit interested and more of less point blank refused. I was so disappointed, but eventually just gave up and started shopping for another present for him. Then a few days ago he called to my house with the news that he had….booked the flights! He had booked them a few weeks ago and said it was absolutely hilarious listening to me trying to convince him all along! Ha! After he was so adamant that he didn’t want to go, I genuinely didn’t expect it for a minute! I was never so shocked and delighted at the same time. We’re off on Jan 13th for 4 days and I am so excited and very grateful to be back in such an amazing city again :)
Hope you’ve all been spoilt and are enjoying all the leftovers today!
