Cotton Face Vintage Velvet Peplum Dress (Similar Below) // CLutchBag.ie Pink Clutch Bag // Zara Heels // Maybelline Pink Lipstick // Hair by Barry’s Hair Studio Galway

If you follow me on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook, you’ll know that on Wednesday I had my college graduation! I studied Commerce (where I specialised in Marketing) for the last few years in NUI Galway and looking back now, they were by far my best few years so far. If you’ve seen My College/University Path blog post, you’ll know how I ended up in Galway and exactly why I loved it so much. It’s definitely my favourite place here in Ireland!

I decided to go with a very classic & simple look for the day and am thrilled with how it turned out. My dress is from Cotton Face Vintage in Galway and it’s a dress I know I’ll have forever. I’m velvet-obsessed so as soon as I saw it, I fell in love. The fit was a little funny, so I ended up having to get it altered twice (thankfully the most amazing seamstress just lives a few doors down from my house) and it turned out perfect in the end. I added a little colour with my clutch bag from clutchbag.ie (which arrived a few hours before I left for Galway) and also with some Maybelline Color Sensational Vivids Lipstick in Fuschia Pink, which is my new favourite. A lot of you were also asking about my hair. I got it blow-dried and curled in Barry’s Hair Studio Galway that morning and it really did last all day. I’d love to know what you think of the whole look in the comments below?

So that’s the end of another chapter. If the next one is even half as good, I’ll be a happy girl!

Have a great weekend!

Stylishly Yours,

Stunning choice of dress for your graduation. It is very you, which I think is important. I wore a leopard dress for my graduation at NUIG, doesn’t sound classy, but with covered arms, knee length and a high neckline, it was surprisingly elegant and I felt really comfortable, but still stylish.
