On Friday, my birthday celebrations began when I went to Ladies Day at the races along with my Mom & my Sister. It was so nice to have a day out with them both as I had been away from them all Summer. Oh and of course, I’ll never say no to an opportunity to dress up!
|NYC Vintage Dress | Vintage Hat | Thrifted Marc Jacobs Shoes | Thrifted Bag
My dress is from Hells Kitchen Market in New York & is probably my favorite find from the Summer. When I bought it, the tag was still attached -which said it was originally $199 and I bought it for a mere $19! The vibrancy of the blue mixed with the gold buttons immediately caught my eye & I knew I just had to have it. I adore the shape & it honestly feels as good as new! The shoes are Marc Jacobs -which I found in a thrift store in the East Village. The hat is also a vintage find, the bag is from a thrift store in Galway & the chain is from a random jewellery store in Soho in NYC. As always, you can hype this look HERE
I also adored my mom & sisters’ outfits. We all have a very similar style & absolutely LOVE dressing for the races. I’m already looking forward to the next day out! Here’s a look at the beautiful details of their outfits…
Today was my first day back to college in Galway. I’m a little late starting this semester because of my internships in New York, so it looks like I’m going to have a busy few weeks catching up. It’s also the first time in my 4 years of college that I’m back in the same college for a 2nd consecutive year -long long story! I must admit that it’s extremely strange being back to sitting in lecture halls after the whirlwind Summer I’ve just had, but it’s my last year here so I’m looking forward to making the most of it!
Hope you’re all having a good week :)
