Farewell NYC….

I’m home!! I arrived back in Ireland yesterday morning, so I’ve spent today just organizing pictures, blog posts, clothes & my life in general! Looking back at all the pictures from this Summer has made me realize what an amazing experience I’ve just had. It’s been pretty difficult to wipe the smile from my face all day. It’s strange to be home but I’m looking forward to a fresh start & to start implementing all my plans for the coming year. I’ve compiled a quick photo diary to give you a recap on my last week in NYC…

I had the pleasure of celebrating my 21st birthday in NYC last Tuesday. It involved assisting Whitney Port with NYFW preparations, cute little presents & cocktails on a rooftop bar. I genuinely don’t think I could have had a more amazing day!

I bid farewell to the Lincoln Centre where NYFW took place & also said goodbye to all the AMAZING girls at Foundfuture -the PR & Sales Company I worked with all Summer. I received the most thoughtful present -a box of my Summer memories which is something that will always put a smile on my face. We went for a farewell lunch which involved LOTS of laughter & also some tears! I cannot begin to describe how grateful I am to have worked with such an inspirational company and such lovely people. Hopefully I will be back again very very soon.

I was also lucky enough to be photographed a few times throughout the week at NYFW. As I was working so much during Fashion Week itself, I didn’t get to spend loads of time around the Lincoln Centre -but when I did I was genuinely taken aback by the people, the street style & the atmosphere!

So now that I’m home it’s time to get back to normal – Scary but also exciting! I go back to college next Monday & this will allow me to get started on some exciting projects. I really have learned so much this Summer & now I am extremely eager to start applying everything here in Ireland. Here’s a little photo collage with pictures since I’ve arrived home. From Top Left:
-My nail art for going home
-My new ring (on the left) from Rock n Rose
-My first drive with Kaelin (my sister) in her new car
-A photo book my Mom made me for my 21st with pictures from throughout the years
-New goodies from Rock N Rose
-M outfit for a family welcome home dinner yesterday evening
Of course, I also have a very cool post coming up in the next few days all about my internship with Whitney Port. I’m currently editing it at the moment -so stay tuned, it’s going to be a good one!
Hope you’ve all had a nice Monday :)
Stylishly yours,
