Here is my latest Internship “Look of the Week”. Both the shirt & pants are from the amazing brand femme d’armes. The minute I stepped foot in the showroom where I am interning, this shirt caught my eye. Both the colours & material are out of this world….& of course, the collar just tops it off ! femme d’armes founders, Fannie Chan and Connie Majoros are sisters, and their RTW clothing line captures them impeccably–the grown up tomboy. Fannie and Connie created a line that is unfussy and still remarkably sophisticated. Native New Yorkers, inspired by the local flea markets, 25th street is a fave, and their personal globetrotting adventures. Fannie and Connie’s evocative androgynous styling appeals to modern women everywhere—particularly those that are not afraid to break a few rules. The collection embodies their youth in NYC and leaves us with the flavor of downtown cool. Femme d’armes officially launched in 2011. The name was an easy choice —“women in arms”. Since then, Fannie and Connie have released solid, progressively bolder seasonal collections consistent with the sisters’ classic meets downtown aesthetic. I would definitely recommend for you to check out their WEBSITE & keep an eye out for this duo in the future :)

The rings I am wearing are also a favorite of mine. The one on my left hand is made by the designer, Alberto Juan, who I mentioned before in this blog post HERE. I absolutely adore the colour ! The ring I am wearing on my right hand is from Flotsam and Jetsam. This brand speaks of the spoils cast over board and washed ashore, sculptural narratives whose stories invoke the desperate journeys of abandoned souls that dared to step aboard and sail into the realms of monsters, sudden squalls and shallow shoals. The designer, Rebekah Harris, has an amazing eye & I’m really in love with her jewelry line. If you want to learn more, feel free to check out her WEBSITE.

This week I focused a lot on reaching out to different bloggers & I have received some very exciting results which I can’t wait to tell you about soon. I’ve also still been working on many fashion week opportunities for our designers. I’m learning so much about Fashion PR & Sales and learning that it is an extremely competitive industry but when good results are achieved…it is all so so worth it in the end :) I’m excited to see what the rest of the Summer has in store for me !

Hope you’ve all had a fabulous Thursday :)
