Vintage Velvet Jacket: Public Romance
Glitter Lita’s: NastyGal
Photo’s by: Saibh Egan Photography
So happy to finally show you my new skirt! It’s from a really cool online store called, “Sugarlips” and I’m actually so delighted with it. Take a quick look at their websites, there’s a few more little things that I really want & they’re all very reasonably priced. It’s one of those skirts that just kinda flow away in the wind & of course, having the Dip-dye effect, it’s right on trend. When I got it first, it took me a while to figure out what I wanted to wear it with, like I didn’t want to put anything too crazy with it as it’s a statement piece in itself. So when I was modeling in a show during the week & one of the pieces being shown was this amazing vintage velvet fitted jacket -my problem had been solved. It’s from my favorite Galway store, Public Romance, & it really is the ultimate classic piece. The lace at the back is too adorable ! It was missing one little button so I just added a purple & gold one which I found amongst my jewelry & it actually goes really nice with the shade of purple in the skirt.
You might be thinking that these pictures are of much better quality than my usual ones….& there’s a very good reason for that. Her name is, Saibh Egan. A very talented lady indeed. You’ll know from previous posts that I’ve worked with Saibh before as a stylist, so it was a little strange being the one in front of the camera for a change. But she’s one of the most relaxed and encouraging photographers I know & this is definitely one of the reasons I LOVE working with her. I love the way that she captures all the little details in an outfit & just “gets” the way you want something to be photographed. We are also working on a very exciting project that I just got news about today, so we’ll be doing some more outfit shoots in the next few days. Which means I’ll have loads more lovely photos to share very soon :)
Thanks a million guys & I hope you all have a great weekend !
